One of the local beading stores that I frequent (all to often, I might add) (Crimpz Bead Boutique) has what is called the "Over the Top Gang" night. The store is opened one night a month to only those that have achieved that status (yes you guessed it - only those that have spent over the top). It is a fun night with wine and goodies and a project to make and select items on sale. This past week we make a key chain using the licorice leather - very cute...great idea for a future stocking stuffer.

I liked it so much I made a matching bracelet.
Love your work! I’m part of the bead soup party. Looking forward to the reveals. I'm now following you. I have a new blog. Please consider following my jewelry blog. Thanks.

I agree that this issue of Bead and Button had several projects I want to make. That hasn't happened lately. The necklace you made happens to be one of them! I love how yours turned out!
ReplyDeleteHi Kepi, I can see why you like this project! It's gorgeous! I haven't seen a Bead Magazine in a long time!! One of things I'm looking forward to when I return to the US next year. I'm setting up my bloglovin account and adding you there! (Since Google Reader is leaving us).
ReplyDeleteThat necklace and bracelet is just beautiful! And your keychain is cute, too! I have been on a self-imposed bead budget lately, mostly because I could not possibly use all the beads I have in my entire life!
ReplyDeleteI'm with you and ready for spring as well! ( accept that it is supposed to be a snowy mix on Monday here lol.) The necklace and matching bracelet are stunning! I really like the key chain as well.
ReplyDeleteLove the necklace and bracelet. You're making me go get the Bead and Button magazine. I'm in the first reveal of BSBP7 and you visited my blog. Thanks! I'm adding you on my Feedly subscription (since Google Reader is gonzo). And, by the way, it's one of the good addictions...beading, that is.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful!
ReplyDeleteThank you for stopping by my blog for the Bead Soup Party Reveal! I am a new follower. Can't wait to see what you create with your bead soup!
The necklace/bracelet are just lovely!
