with all this excitement

.....I almost forgot what day is was, more importantly what date it was. I thought reveal day was Sunday but yikes it today! I have a really good excuse though....my precious little granddaughter was born on Easter Sunday and oh I just can't get enough.  She is pure joy and such a blessing.  My daughter had a rough go of it but I think with nana and papa and auntie pitching in she is on the mend.

Zoe Amelia
...without further adieu and a very Happy Birthday to Alenka here are my butterflies! I have always wanted to do a butterfly necklace and this presented the perfect opportunity.

Please visit the other wonderful birthday well wishers and enjoy the butterfly show! Thank you Alenka for letting us be part of your special day.

  2. Your butterflies are so feminine and romantic and just so beautiful! Your color choices are so very soothing ~ much like that floaty feeling one gets when watching a butterfly in flight.
But your Granddaughter ~ she is the most beautiful photo on this page! Congratulations!!!

  12. Your work is lovely, feminine and so very pretty. The embroidered butterfly with the pearls would steal the show except I really do think there is nothing as sweet as a new baby! Enjoy every minute of it.

  15. Dear Debbie, I'm sorry I didn't comment earlier but I couldn't do it on my iPad and that's what I was using on the weekend when I hopped the butterfly blog hop. First of all congratulations on your new precious bundle of joy. I'm not sure I'd be thinking about jewelry with a new grandchild arriving!
