January 5 a special day

Turquoise is said to protect the wearer from negative energy and bring good fortune. Turquoise is also a symbol of friendship and brings peace to the home. Orange calcite  is said to enhance creativity and sexuality.  "Earth Spirit" was created to capture these and also represent the elements (earth, wind, water and fire).  A special piece for a special day.

Happy New Year

Wow 2012 I predict this will be another year of change. I have already been busy and have created Pink Heart. The stone is Cobalton Calcite and is believed to aid in opening one's heart to others. The pink symbolizes love and caring, good for broken hearts and self discovery and can also aid in peaceful sleep. Crystals were used to add more sparkle.

A tough day helping my daughter move to her new apartment. Bittersweet...I want her to experience life on her own, but oh I will miss her.
I do believe my beading will become frenzied so my mind is occupied. My husband and I traveled to the southwest this fall and I was incredibly influenced by the Navajo jewelery...maybe it was a past life. My influenced pieces

Christmas Eve - a most wonderful time of the year. I have finally finished Serendipity. My favorite colors and I love the design. In fact I'm wearing it right now.
